Saoco was founded with the idea to bring a different approach to Cuban food in the U.S. Our Founder saw it very inspiring how just a sandwich represents the melting pot this mighty country is all about. It represents him as an immigrant himself. Originally from Colombia, he found how fascinating food and coffee can bring people together, embracing culture and traditions. His travels around South Florida inspired him to bring the same vibe to the Washington, D.C. area. He wants to share this experience with everyone in the land he calls home with purpose and passion.
